Lovely video recap of our Victory 80 project, commemorating the 80th anniversary of VE and VJ Day. This was supported by a generous grant from the Department for Culture, Media & Sport via the Arts Council.
Brook Rural Museum commemorated the anniversaries from an agricultural perspective, exploring the Dig For Victory Campaign and the impact of WWII on the farming industry in the local area through an engagement project centred on planting an on-site Dig For Victory Garden and supporting interpretation, in addition to themed tours and events.
